Sie seien jetzt daheim. Ob ein Fotoengel sie besuchen könne.
Es wäre so kostbar, wunderschöne Bilder ihrer kleinen Fee und ihnen als ganze Familie zu bekommen.

Junis sei nach sehr langer Geburt schliesslich per Kaiserschnitt wegen abgelöster Plazenta auf die Welt geholt worden. „Die folgenden Tage verbrachte sie dann auf der Neonatologie zur Überwachung, da ein Herzfehler seit der 32. Schwangerschaftswoche bekannt war. Vier Tage nach ihrer Geburt kam der Befund, dass sie Trisonomie 18 habe. Als Lebenserwartung wurden Tage, Wochen, vielleicht drei Monate genannt. Zurzeit geht es Junis noch gut, sie ist stabil und schläft meistens“, schreibt ihr Papa.

Und immer, wenn alles so schnell anders sein könnte, möchte ich keine Zeit verlieren.
Und so suche ich einen Fotoengel, der diese Familie im Sturm gleich am nächsten Tag besuchen könnte.

Die Eltern schreiben: „Es hat alles bestens geklappt. Ruth nahm sich seeeeeeeeeeeeehr viel Zeit für uns, für Junis und für ihre ältere Schwester. Es hat alles gestimmt für uns und wir sind sehr froh und dankbar, dass es Engel wie euch gibt !!! Vielen, vielen Dank ! Die Bilder sind wunderschön und wir sind so froh, dass uns das Spital auf diese wundervolle Möglichkeit aufmerksam gemacht hat. Wir danken euch von ganzem Herzen – es sind wahrlich Herzensbilder und ein kleiner Schatz, den wir bei uns tragen werden. Junis geht es soweit sehr gut und wir konnten ihren ersten Monat auf der Erde feiern ! Wir versuchen jeden Tag mit ihr ganz bewusst zu geniessen, auch wenn es manchmal nicht so einfach ist und wir uns einen Abschied kaum vorstellen können…“

Liebe Junis-Mama, lieber Junis-Papa
ein Kind bis zum Abflug zu den Sternen begleiten zu müssen, was für eine unendlich schwere Aufgabe ist es.
Nichts anderes tun zu können, als ihm alle Liebe und alle Geborgenheit dieser Welt zu schenken, wissend, dass es nicht lange da sein wird.
Alltag zu leben mitten im Ausnahmezustand.
Es zu wissen, dass es irgendwann seine Flügel ausbreiten wird, um Richtung Sterne zu fliegen, und es dennoch nicht wirklich fassen und verstehen zu können.
Das braucht alles so viel Kraft.
Wir wünschen es euch so sehr, dass sie noch so lange wie möglich bei euch bleiben darf,
eure Junis.
Wir wünschen euch noch 1001 innigste Momente mit eurer kleinen Fee.
Und wir wünschen euch, dass ihr getragen und gestützt seid.
Dass Menschen da sind, die euch abnehmen, was man abnehmen kann, die euch einfach gut tun mitten im Sturm.

Wir denken festfestfest an euch und ein helles Licht brennt für euch alle, für Junis, die ein so wunderbares Plätzchen haben durfte bei euch, für euch, die euren Weg nun ohne sie weitergehen müsst….in grosser Verbundenheit und in Gedanken oft bei euch….

197. HERZENSBILDER for JUNIS
A nurse writes to us to tell us about a family whose parents wish to take their second child home for palliative care. She would like to know whether the parents could register for the service provided by Herzensbilder when everything is set up at home.
Yes, of course they can.
And then we receive a phone call from the father.
They’re at home now. And they’d like to know if an angel could come by to visit.
It would be lovely to have beautiful photos taken of their little fairy and of them as a family.
After a very difficult birth due to a detached placenta, Junis was finally born via caesarean section. “She was then brought to the neonatology department for monitoring over the next few days, because a heart defect had been detected in the 32nd week of pregnancy. Four days after her birth, it was found that she had Edwards syndrome. She was given a life expectancy of days, weeks, maybe three months maximum. At the moment Junis is still doing well, is in a stable condition, and spends a lot of time sleeping,” writes her father.
I don’t want to lose any time at all, not when things could change in an instant.
So I seek out an angel who can photograph this family the very next day in their time of need.
 Ruth Hofmann is immediately prepared to be the family’s photo angel. She wastes no time in organising her day so that she can give her time and skills behind the camera to Junis and her loved ones.

The photos are fantastic and we are very glad that the hospital told us about his amazing opportunity. Thank you from the very bottom of our hearts – these are truly photos with heart and a small treasure that we will always carry with us. Junis is still doing very well and we were able to celebrate her first month with us! We make every effort to enjoy each day that we have with her, even if it sometimes isn’t so easy and we can barely bring ourselves to think about saying goodbye…”

To Junis’ Mum and Dad:
It is extremely difficult to have to accompany a child and prepare for when they finally leave and make their way to heaven.
The only thing you can do is to give them all the love and security in the world in the awareness that it ultimately won’t be long.
To live your day-to-day lives in the middle of such an abnormal situation.
To know – and yet not really understand or accept – that your child will one day spread their wings and fly towards the stars.
This requires huge reserves of strength.
We truly hope that you get to spend as much time with Junis as possible.
We hope that you can enjoy 1001 intimate moments with your little fairy.
 And we trust that you’ll be supported along the way.
By people who lend their strength, who bear some of the burden with you, who are a rock when the waters around you are stormy.
